Plasma - an electronic music duo from Lithuania, rose to prominence in the '90s. Founded by Saidas Blistrabas, previously of "Delčia", they pioneered early computer music tech and analog synthesizers, combining experimental electronica with techno and ambient influences. Darius Vaičiulis joined in 1997. Despite their split in 1999, with Darius joining "Happyendless" and Saidas moving to the USA as "Saidux", Plasma's influence persisted. Plasma reunited in 2023 reigniting their musical journey.

"The Maze" is a concept EP built around four directional tracks — North, East, South, and West — each representing a different route through the same sonic landscape. The EP begins with the more stripped, techno-leaning energy of North and gradually opens into the more melodic and progressive territory of East, South, and West, blending progressive house, melodic techno, deep house, trance influence, and immersive electronic production into a cohesive body of work.
"The Maze" is a part of a wider Plasma release arc that continues with the "Watchers of the Skies" EP and "Zulu", leading toward the fall album — "OMNITOPIA".

In the '90s, Plasma emerged in Šiauliai, Lithuania, as a pioneering electronic music duo, blending experimental electronica with techno and ambient vibes. Founded by Saidas Blistrabas, a former member of "Delčia", Plasma innovated with early computer music tech and analog synthesizers, releasing the debut album "Plug & Play" in 1996. The arrival of Darius Vaičiulis in 1997 enriched their sound, leading to "Microworld", an album that cemented their place in Lithuanian rave culture. Despite their split in 1999, with Darius joining "Happyendless" and Saidas moving to the USA as "Saidux", Plasma's influence persisted. Their 2023 reunion and the vinyl reissue of "Microworld" with remastered tracks, highlight their enduring legacy and impact on Lithuanian electronic music.
